Day One: Bienvenus a Paris! Warm welcomes from your Tour Manager as you arrive at Paris Airport! Drive in your private tour bus to the hotel, where the rest of the day will be at leisure prior to a Welcome Dinner.
Day Two: Paris sights Today’s full-day tour will include all of the sights of Paris; Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees and much more. Time for lunch in the artists’ colony of Montmartre before continuing to the Orsay Museum, where many great Impressionist works are displayed. End the day with a reception in the atelier of a contemporary artist.
Day Three: Villages and a Chateau Close to Paris are the villages where the Impressionists painted many rural scenes. Visit Gres, with its quiet meadows and charming river views. Take a boat-ride on this peaceful stretch of the Seine, and spend an enchanting afternoon at Courances, with its seventeenth-century chateau and lovely green parkland laced with limpid waters.
Day Four: At leisure A free day in Paris for your own pursuits; shop, discover a delightful bistro, or maybe linger over the ‘Nympheas’ in the Orangerie Museum. Enjoy a special Dinner in a local bistro tonight!
Day Five: Villages and a Garden Match the painting with the view today, as you visit Louveciennes and Marly-le-Roi, beloved of Sisley and Pissarro. At Auvers-sur-Oise, see Van Gogh’s ‘Church’, before driving to Giverny, former home of Claude Monet. The house and garden have been restored to give an insightful glimpse of the life of this most prolific of Impressionists. Your hotel for the night is located nearby; Dinner awaits.
Day Six: Normandy Visit the Poulain Museum to see works by Monet, Rosa Bonheur, Maurice Denis and others. In Rouen, you will enjoy a visit to the Cathedral, and take time to stroll the charming cobbled streets of the old town. Later, see Fécamp and Etretat, where Boudin, Courbet and Corot chose to paint. Home for tonight is in the quaint port of Honfleur, still wearing the same air captured by the artists a century ago.
Day Seven: Port and Resort Stroll the old streets of Honfleur, where galleries show the work of contemporary artists. Visit the Eugene Boudin museum, which features works by Monet, Dubourg and Jongkind. Nearby is Trouville, beloved of Boudin, where you will see the Hotel des Roches Noires, immortalised by Monet. Return to your Honfleur hotel for the last night of your tour.
Day Eight: Departure Drive to the airport this morning, and relive memories of your trip each time you look at an Impressionist work!

See how they look today, or take a step back in history as you explore regions unchanged by the years. For the practical artist, time for painting and sketching can be included.
